Finally, it's time to take a last look around and head up the trail.

 

Once again, I get a warning to take it slow and careful....

 

This plant is Yarrow. It has many medicinal applications.

 

This young fella refused to cede the trail as his older brothers did. He also didn't rattle. He made me go around him.

 

The trail heading back up. I was moving at about 3/4 speed, looking carefully around each bush.

Check out the lichens on this rock...

These guys eerily reinforced the feeling of Deja vu about the storyline I mentioned before.
It was the first time I had seen any buffalo in this area.

I made it home, much more relaxed and centered. This is my form of meditation.
